Role Description

This individual will be employed by Red C Research & Marketing Ltd on a 12 month fixed term contract and will be based in the offices of Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland, Tramore Road, Cork. This role will work within the Insight and Analytics Team within the IC (Innovation and the Consumer) Function and will support the Consumer Insight Manager in the delivery of timely, actionably insight to the business


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working with the Marketing and Trading teams to build insight into commercial plans and range reviews
  • Supporting our online shopper community for example; 
       o Scripting, testing, moderating, publishing, analysis, reporting & providing community support
  • Assisting with ad-hoc insights projects as required, for example;
       o On the ground research projects such as exit interviews, online focus groups, Voxpops etc
       o Briefing agencies on ad hoc research requirements and seeking proposals
       o Responding to requests for past insight papers/research
       o Conducting ad-hoc quantitative research using tools such as Survey Monkey
       o Carrying out qualitative research such as focus groups and accompanied shops
  • Dealing with queries as and when required, reporting back to colleagues with full, accurate and timely responses
  • Ensuring the organisation is kept up to date of key consumer trends, moves and new ideas(via internal newsletter)
  • Managing workload effectively, ensuring work is delivered on time in accordance with business priorities
  • Management and development of relationships with key insights partners
  • Compiling the monthly brand scorecards for both BRM and Board

Essential Experience
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of qualitative and quantitative research techniques
  • Ability to translate research data into clear insight which is easy to understand
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Passion for retail and strong interpersonal skills 
  • Full Drivers Licence

Desirable Experience
  • Minimum of 1-3years experience in insights role within FMCG, Retail Banking, Telco or research agency
  • Experience in filming and editing videos would be beneficial
